Angklung Traditional Music West Java . Oes Tsetnoc website really interest for this music tool. and now “oes tsetnoc” will be talk about “angklung”. angklung is which one original music tool  from indonesia. The Angklung got more international attention when Daeng Soetigna, from Bandung, West Java, expanded the angklung notations not only to play traditional scales, but also diatonic scale. Since then, angklung is often played together with other western music instruments in an orchestra.

Angklung made from bamboo. The main part of angklung is the bamboo tube which sound is produced. To play the instrument you only need to shake the angklung and the instrument will produce a note. When someone shakes the instrument, the bamboo tube is being hit and produces sound. Reog Ponorogo

Reog told about the struggle for a prince who will propose to a lovely pretty princess . On the way from Bantarangin kingdom to Kediri, Singobarong as leader conquered tigers and peacocks. Reog dance is also staged full moon nightly in paseban, Ponorogo Town Square.  This dance is staged about 25 – 40 dancers and the musician. The interesting of Reog is his main leading figure named Singo Barong. The dancer of Singo Barong bear the mask about 30 – 40 kg weight and supported by the strength of their teeth. The other leading figure in Reog include Kelono Sewandono, Bujang Anom, Jatil and Warok.

Reog is a traditional dance that become the main identity for Ponorogo regency. Because of this, Ponorogo is also known as Reog city. This theatre has been known wide in Indonesian even foreign tourists. Reog National Festival is held every years along the anniversary of Ponorogo regency and Grebeg Suro celebration. The visitors can enjoy this traditional dance only in Ponorogo, East Java – Indonesia. The only area that has REOG dance is Ponorogo, not in other country.

after batik, now Oes Tsetnoc will be tell you about Pendet Dance. and “Oes Tsetnoc” just want to say pendet dance is from indonesia not malaysia !!! pendet dance is a traditional Balinese dance, in which offerings are made to purify the temple or theater as a prelude to ceremonies or other dances. Pendet can be thought of as a dance of greeting, to welcome the audience and invite spirits to enjoy a performance. bali traditional dances such as Pendet, is one of the dances of many cultures in bali. Indonesia is rich in culture, and Bali is one place that has a culture of ancestor. Pendet is usually performed during temple ceremonies. All dancers carry in their right hand a small offering of incense, cakes, water vessels, or flower formations set in palm leaf With these they dance from shrine to shrine within the temple.  Pendet, thus, may be performed as a continue the day and late into the night during temple feasts.

Oes Tsetnoc Support Batik’s Day for Indonesia, yes today is batik day for all indonesian people. and “Oes Tsetnoc” proud for recognition UNESCO world organization of batik. and now, batik officially became one of Indonesia culture.
